EN | The rhythmic dialogue between the strength in the waves of the sea and the pebbles in the beaches of Madeira Island served as inspiration for the Pebble Sofa. Besides accentuating, once again, the particular influence that Nature has in its work, Nini Andrade Silva materialized this dialogue in a creative process that started from the inside out. If the strength of the sea naturally sculpts the pebbles, the Pebble Sofa emerges as if it's a sculpture of the artist, just like the organic movement of the sea bursting into the pebbles.

PT | O diálogo cadenciado entre a força das ondas do mar e os calhaus das praias da Madeira serviu de inspiração ao Pebble Sofa. Além de vincar, uma vez mais, a influência particular que a Natureza tem na sua obra, Nini Andrade Silva materializou este diálogo num processo criativo que se iniciou do interior para o exterior. Se a força do mar esculpe naturalmente os calhaus, o Pebble Sofa surge como que uma escultura da artista, tal e qual o movimento orgânico do mar a irromper nas pedras.
